Two and a half years later. Wow how life has changed.

Still at that new job, except Veritas was purchased by Symantec. I was a sales rep but was recently promoted to NY Metro District Manager and have a team of 6 inside sales reps. I'm lucky enough to have one of the best teams in the company.

EIC is still going, although it's in name only right now.

Loki was just here this weekend. Becky and I are good friends. Loki finished his championship. I also finished his sister Angel and his brother Lex and am now working on Dino's championship.

Haley just finished her ONYX title. It's been my goal for 7 years now. She's getting older but still runs around like a puppy. She retired from agility last year. We still play Frisbee several times a week though.

Dino is still a challenge, but I wouldn't trade him for the world. He is doing well in flyball and is our start dog. He has 6 points towards his championship and will soon start that elusive obedience training.

Let's see...what else has changed since 2005. Who would have known that I was on an incredible path at that point. About that time I met the woman who would become Mrs. Juli Bitler. Juli started coming to flyball practice after just moving to Port Orange to take a job training horses and teaching lessons. We started dating in August after a flyball tournament and we were engaged on Christmas Eve. We had a gorgeous wedding at Disney World that was simply unforgettable.

I know have a home with 4 dogs (see the front page), a lovely wife, and a great job. I couldn't be happier.

What a strange trip life is sometimes. Just when you think things can't get any worse, they do. Then when you think it can't get worse than that, it gets better.

This month has been the month of change. I start a new job next week with Veritas Software. A great inside sales position with a wonderful company. I'll keep Essential IC going in my part time at least until I pay off our back payroll tax obligation with the IRS. Not having to take a salary though will take a lot of financial strain off EIC and it should go along just fine on international order and stuff I do at night.

Loki has been visiting regularly which is nice, but I still miss him. 1 more point to finish his championship. His flyball training is coming along really well too. I think he is ready to try some limited runs at a race.

Haley is still doing well and running in Flyball. We are working on her next title, FMCh. I'm hoping to get it by the end of the year.

Then there is Dino. Haley loves me, Loki is my bud, and Dino makes me laugh. He is such a funny dog. I am doing field work, conformation, obedience, and flyball together between the three dogs and Dino is actually doing all four himself. He's a challenge at times but he is also a great dog and I think we will do well together.

I love my dog. This is my current wallpaper, and I just love it.
